NUMiNOUS magazine had an amazingly succesful launch for their Street Art themed issue, and now it's time to prepare for the next one! Censorship is set to be released August 1st 2015, and the deadline to submit is JULY 1ST!! The poster above designed by, Lauren Ladner Graphic Design.
Censorship is defined as, "the suppression of speech, public communication or other information which may be considered objectionable, harmful, sensitive, politically incorrect or inconvenient as determined by governments, media outlets, authorities or other groups or institutions." NUMiNOUS wants to see your own artistic interpretations on what censorship means to you. Do you stretch the boundraies of what is acceptable, play up the conservative nature of censorship, or just throw all caution to the wind? Whatever approach you take, NUMiNOUS would like to feature your art in the next issue.
If you need some ideas, NUMiNOUS has put together a Pinterest inspiration board. Some examples can be seen below. But don't be limited in your expression, the last thing we want to do is censor you! Find details on how to submit on NUMiNOUS magazines website and get your art in by JULY 1ST!!
