Social Media and Marketing

I have worked community management and content creation for a number of clients both in-house and in a freelance capacity. As Creative Manager at Rittenhouse Women’s Wellness Center, much of my work was shared on various social media platforms, as well as in print form. There I grew familiar with the changing nature of marketing online, from formatting images to precise specifications for each platform, to what trends are current and will gain traction with our audience. I was aided by tools to track our engagement, and performed audits of our past and present strategies. I have continued to provide clients with Social Media support through the years. Below you can see a variety of examples.

Spring Fling Women’s Happy Hour

BRIEF

Each business has its niche, and understanding design and marketing for social media takes research, and often this can spill over to networking in real life with local businesses to help promotion. Spring Fling was to go beyond what RWWC has been doing participating in community events, but to host one ourselves and bring our audience’s favorite businesses in one spot. This event brought together 8 different business for the evening as well as secured a liquor sponsor. Hosted at Ellelauri in Center City Philadelphia, the happy hour event featured drinks, refreshments, and mini services from our local partners. Guests also were able to take home a gift bag featuring exclusive products and discounts. The event was free and open to the public.

PROCESS

Considering all the partner business’s aesthetics was a driving factor in the design choices, as well as what was appealing and trending to the target audience. Florals were chosen to represent both the spring season, and the feminine nature of this event. The fonts of RWWC’s branding strategy were used to convey the information. Color and size were both considered when creating the hierarchy of information. Variations were created to freshly promote the event through multiple posts. Linked together through theme, color and alignment.

Love Yourself Campaign

BRIEF

Increase engagement and number of "likes" or subscribers on Rittenhouse Women’s Wellness Center Facebook page. Create a social media giveaway centered on the topic of self love and healthy lifestyles. Prizes were sourced from local businesses as well as Rittenhouse Women's Wellness Center and Dermacenter Medical Spa. More than entrants just writing their name in a list, the giveaway encouraged people to submit entries based on questions and include images. Entries were posted directly to the Facebook page, or through the entrants personal Facebook while tagging RWWC. All of the social accounts pushed content centered around the theme of self love for the entirety of the campaign. This included inspiring quotes, relevant articles, and some personal stories from our CEO and staff.

I was the lead on this project from concept to deployment, I reached out to participating business, designed all the materials, and set up paid Facebook ads and promotions. Many images were created to support this campaign which all had to be approved through Facebook ads, but also shared in the environment.

The flyer above was shared before the campaign began to announce what was coming. It included the logos of the businesses that provided prizes. Using brand awareness to stir up anticipation. This was posted online as well as in office and within these participating businesses.

RESULTS

The Love Yourself campaign was a week long and increased RWWC's engagement by 115% and their total followers by 25%. The involvement of neighboring business was also a boon for them, spreading the word on their products and services. RWWC always took an approach of being very community driven and engaged and this campaign was a reflection of that.
